Bound in blue cloth, with silver lettering and decoration on a black title panel on the spine. The author's initials are stamped in silver and surrounded by a silver rectangle on the front board. The tops of the leaves are stained a light red. A black-and-white illustration of fifteenth-century Florence is printed on the endpapers.

Book condition is very good. Binding is firm. Interior pages are very clean. Some spotting on page ends (maybe coffee) and board corners slightly bumped. Very slight rubbing to front cover and some rubbing to bottom of back cover. Dust Jacket condition is fair. Edges are heavily taped.
